ACCU-VIS is a liquid copolymer designed for fast field mixing, viscosity building, and clay/shale stabilization in aqueous drilling fluids. ACCU-VIS is certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 60, Drinking Water Treatment Chemicals - Health Effects.


BARITE is a high-grade barium sulfate specially processed use as a drilling fluid weighting additive. BARITE meets the API Specification 13A, Section 2 requirement for a drilling fluid.


CETCO C-LUBE is vegetable oil based lubricant for water based drilling fluids. CETCO C-LUBE is a filming type lubricant that reduces rotational torques and drag. It enhanes lubricity of water based drilling fluids without adversely altering rheology.


CETCO DEFOAMER is a non-ionic silicone solution designed to reduce surface tension and break foam bubbles over a wide variety of conditions.


CETCO JOINT COMPOUND is a lead-free, premium grade tool joint and drill collar lubricant for heavy duty drilling. This special mixture of the finest blend of copper flakes with a superior base gives maximum protection under extreme temperature and adverse conditions.


CETCO X-TORQUE is a 100% environmentally safe, non-petroleum lubricant specifically developed for horizontal directional drilling and mineral exploration, as well as other drilling applications. CETCO X-TORQUE attracts to metal surfaces such as drill pipe and downhole tooling to provide lubrication between these surfaces and the formation. CETCO X-TORQUE will dramatically reduce clay balling as well as rotational torque. CETCO X-TORQUE is especially beneficial in slimhole applications.


CLAY CUTTER is a concentrated, non-hazardous, proprietary clay inhibitor that can be used with either polymer or bentonite drilling fluid systems. CLAY CUTTER is an ideal additive for HDD bores in reactive clay soils.


CLAY CUTTER PRO is a dry version of the CLAY CUTTER liquid additive. This concentrated, non-hazardous, proprietary clay inhibitor can be used with either polymer or bentonite drilling fluid systems. This dry additive is cost effective and dosages are easily monitored and controlled. CLAY CUTTER PRO is an ideal additive for HDD bores in reactive clay soils.


DE-CHLOR is a white granular crystal that neutralizes chlorine in municipal water. Chlorine in water supplies can destroy polymer drilling fluids.


DRILL-TERGE is a liquid solution of non-ionic surfactants formulated to increase wetting properties of drilling fluids. DRILL-TERGE coats the cuttings created in the drilling process and allows for easier lifting and removal. DRILL-TERGE also coats the drill pipe and drilling tools which prevents clays from sticking to the metal surfaces.


HERCUL-EZ is a proprietary additive that is used in conjunction with bentonite based drilling muds. With proper formulation, the system will produce a unique drilling fluid with excellent shear thinning characteristics. At low shear or at rest, the fluid will gel and allow for suspension of large cuttings, yet thins immediately under pumping conditions.


INSTA-CLEAR DRY is designed to lower pH, break emulsions, and remove high levels of suspended solids. INSTA-CLEAR DRY is a specially blended dry granular product designed for both polymer slurry and water filled boreholes.


INSTA-FLOC is a high performance selective liquid flocculant used in clear water drilling and low solids drilling. INSTA-FLOC is a high molecular weight, non-ionic polyacrylamide and is extremely effective in removing fine-grained solids suspended in the slurry.


INSTA-VIS DRY is an easy mixing, water soluble, high molecular weight anionic polymer. This granular polymer improves drilling efficiency in both horizontal and vertically drilled holes by controlling shales and clays, improving lubricity, and increasing viscosity.


INSTA-VIS PLUS is a multi-functional liquid polymer designed to improve drilling efficiency in both horizontal and vertical drilled holes through its rapid field mixing, viscosity development, and clay and shale inhibition. INSTA-VIS PLUS is certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 60, Drinking Water Treatment Chemicals - Health Effects.


LEB-CD is a highly concentrated liquid enzyme breaker used to break down PUREGOLD CLEANDRILL slurry. LEB-CD reduces the viscosity of gels and slurries to less than 15 centipoise, enhancing fluid flow and recovery of fluid. When used properly LEB-CD will increase gravel pack permeability.


MACRO-FILL is a granular, advanced super-absorbent material that rapidly absorbs and retains large volumes of water from aqueous solutions. MACRO-FILL may absorb up to 300 times its weight in freshwater while expanding less than 5% in total volume.


MAGMA FIBER is a specially formulated, extrusion spun mineral fiber. This coarse, long flexible fiber will give increased circulation by bridging and plugging off voids, fractures, and all types of permeable formations. MAGMA FIBER is compatible with all oil and water based muds and emulsion.


MULTI-SEAL is a select blend of four types of materials normally used for lost circulation. A flake material (cellophane), a granular material (nut shells), fine fibrous material (ground paper), and coarse fibers (cedar fibers). MULTI-SEAL is blended in the proper ratio to produce the most effective seal. MULTI-SEAL contains no fermenting materials or materials that chemically change the rheological properties of the fluid, even polymer mud’s.


PUREGOLD LUBE is an environmentally safe premium grade lubricant, free of petroleum hydrocarbons and metals. PUREGOLD LUBE is a tool joint lubricant designed for use in environmental drilling.


REL-PAC is a non-fermenting granular polymer designed for building a low solids drilling fluid with increased borehole stability. REL-PAC is a highly dispersible polymer, which prevents the formation of hard lumps or fish eyes, for maximum product efficiency.


REL-PAC XTRA-LOW is a low viscosity, non-fermenting dry polymer designed for use as a more efficient filtration control additive in a variety of drilling fluid applications. Intended for use in bentonite and polymer fluids.


SAND SEALANT a specially blended dry powdered mineral and MULTI-SEAL a dry select blend of four types of materials a flake material, a granular material, a fine fibrous material, and coarse fibers used for fluid loss control. SAND SEALANT/MULTI-SEAL added to a hole filled with SHORE PAC slurry, reduces slurry seepage into saturated open porous permeable cobbles, sands, and gravels.


SHORE PAC is an easy mixing, water soluble, polymer supplied as a granular powder. SHORE PAC is designed for preparation of viscous earth-reinforcing fluids or slurries for a variety of drilling, trenching, and walling applications in the geo-construction industry.


SLURRY BUSTER DRY is an industrial grade oxidizing agent used to breakdown SHORE PAC polymer slurry. This white granular solid dissolves completely when applied to SHORE PAC polymer slurry. The active ingredient is a powerful class III oxidizer that ensures rapid and complete slurry degradation. SLURRY BUSTER DRY is a highly effective clean-up solution.


SLURRYBOND is a powdered inorganic mineral formula used for the solidification of high solids drilling slurries. SLURRYBOND is made from non-biodegradable mineral.


SLURRYBOND 200 is a proprietary solid, granular super-absorbent polymer that rapidly absorbs and retains aqueous matter. SLURRYBOND 200 is made from non-biodegradable polymer.


SLURRYBOND 2000 is a dry product intended to solidify drilling spoils for disposal purposes.


SODA ASH is the common name for sodium carbonate, which separates calcium into sodium and carbonate ions in solution.


SODIUM BICARBONATE , NaHCO3 is used to lower the pH of drilling slurry from a pH of 12-13 (alkaline) to a neutral pH range of 8-9. A white powder, SODIUM BICARBONATE is also added to a base drilling fluid as a pH neutralizing additive. A buffer, SODIUM BICARBONATE is added to acidic water to raise the pH to 8-9.


SUPER PAC is an easy mixing, liquid polymer that enhances the properties of a bentonite drilling fluid by lowering water loss to the formation (filtrate). When added to HYDRAUL-EZ or SUPER GEL-X, SUPER PAC creates an ideal fluid for drilling in a variety of conditions.


SUPER PAC XTRA-LOW is a low viscosity, liquid multipurpose polymer. SUPER PAC XTRA-LOW enhances the beneficial properties of bentonite and polymer drilling fluids by lowering water loss to the formation (filtrate).


SUPER THIN is a highly concentrated additive engineered to reduce drilling fluid viscosity, assist in settling solids, and can be used to disperse the filter cake created by a bentonite drilling fluid with continued circulation through the borehole. SUPER THIN is certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 60, Drinking Water Treatment Chemicals - Health Effects.


SUSPEND-IT is an easy mixing biopolymer additive used to control drilling fluid rheology. SUSPEND-IT is designed to enhance gel strength of the drilling fluid for improved suspension and transporting of drill cuttings, gravel, and cobble on long bores. SUSPEND-IT will perform effectively in fresh or saltwater.


VARIFLO QD is a coarse granular, high-viscosity blend of guar gum formulated for easy and quick dispersion in drilling applications. Coarser granules prevent lumps or encapsulation. VARIFLO QD bonds to soil particles providing support and builds a protective wall cake. Low fluid loss characteristics and high viscosity help maintain hydraulic head.


VERSAFOAM PLUS is an ultra high-yielding, biodegradable, liquid foaming agent for use in fresh and saltwater air rotary drilling. VERSAFOAM PLUS is certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 60, Drinking Water Treatment Chemicals - Health Effects.

University of Louisville Stadium Drilled Shafts

The University of Louisville Stadium Expansion plan added 60,000 seats with new space and amenities. Medium diameter drilled shaft foundations were constructed to support the expansion of the existing stadium. Vibrating caissons were not an option for some shafts due to space constraints, and difficult soil conditions made it challenging to drill the shafts.
